OMVIC administers the Ontario Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA) on behalf of the provincial consumer Minister. Our mandate is to maintain a fair, safe and informed marketplace in Ontario by protecting the rights of consumers, enhancing industry professionalism and ensuring fair, honest and open competition for registered motor vehicle dealers. Our adherence to these ideals is reflected in our mission statement:
